Remote and Traveling Employees
For Your Cell Phone Users:
Voice-Ring understands the mobile environment and ensures that
Smart & Boundless accommodates the road warrior who needs the
same telecommunication features that the office staff enjoys.
To bring these users into the corporate network, simply assign an
extension number to the cell phone.
When the extension is called
1.The cell phone rings and connects to the caller when answered.
2.Unanswered calls are transferred to Smart & Boundless voicemail.
A text message is sent to the cell phone to announce the new voicemail.
3.Calls received at the cell phone can be transferred internally to any
network extension or outside phone number.
4.Voicemail can be forwarded within the corporate network.
It is important to understand the difference between forwarding calls
to a cell phone and actually adding your cell phone user
to the corporate network. When a number is forwarded to a cell phone,
the mobile network system controls the call transfers would then
occur via 3-way calling and voicemail cant be transferred
within the corporate network.
Such activities are not only cumbersome but can add minutes to the mobile plan.
For your remote employees:
Your remote employees can have a desk extension just like any other employee.
If they have a high speed Internet connection in their office/home office,
then they are connected. If they do not have a high speed Internet connection,
then Smart & Boundless can assign an extension to any phone,
such as a home phone.
With the exception of text messaging it works like the previous cell phone example.
